Start with the Declaration Rules
This Rummy walkthrough explains the combinations needed for a valid hand. Check the table’s exact rules, practise sorting and do not treat familiarity with the game as a promise of cash returns.
Three Terms Used at the Table
- A run of cards: A sequence uses consecutive ranks from one suit, such as 5♦–6♦–7♦. The source requires a pure sequence without a substitute card; confirm all other declaration conditions too.
- Matching ranks: A set groups equal ranks from different suits, such as K♥, K♠ and K♦.
- Substitute cards: A joker may help complete permitted combinations, but cannot replace the requirement for a natural sequence.
